    FAQ

Frequently asked questions about drone footage

Everything you need to know about permits, safety and process.

Do you need a permit for commercial drone footage?

Yes. In Austria, operator registration, a remote pilot certificate and, depending on category, operating authorisations from Austro Control are required. We hold all licences and handle the entire process, including landowners.

How high are you allowed to fly?

Up to 120 m above ground by default in the open category. For greater altitudes, dense population areas or no-fly zones, we obtain individual authorisations.

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

We plan realistic time windows with defined backup dates. In rain, strong wind or poor visibility, the flight is postponed — at no extra cost.

    Are you insured for damages?

Yes. We hold commercial drone liability insurance with adequate coverage. Proof of insurance is provided on request in advance.

Can you also fly inside industrial facilities or on construction sites?

Yes. We have experience in industrial, construction and event environments and work closely with your safety officers.
